Online Tinnitus Research Study Needs Participants

You are being asked to participate in an online research study! Researchers at the University of Wyoming are interested in implicit attitudes toward sound-related words. Through this study, you can learn whether you have an implicit negative attitude toward sound. Your results will be shown immediately, and will indicate whether you prefer “Sound” to “Neutral.” This is not a diagnostic test, and does not have any implications regarding your tinnitus.

Additionally, if you participate, you will be entered to win one of 10 electronic gift certificates worth $20! The gift certificate will be sent to your preferred email address, and email addresses are NOT associated with the data you provide. The email addresses are kept on a secure database, and are not distributed to anyone else.

We are currently recruiting individuals who experience a constant ringing or buzzing in one or both ears, as well as people who do NOT have ringing or buzzing. So please, forward this email to your friends! They can also learn whether they view sound-related words more negatively than neutral words.
