One of ATA's proud, historic milestones in 2007 was the establishment of a greater Chicago area chapter. This new ATA entity, "Chicagoland," and its strong local leadership, extends our reach and effectiveness as we promote tinnitus awareness and advocacy. Together, we are working toward funding research that will help end the miseries of tinnitus.
The Chicagoland chapter is building relationships with ATA members, healthcare professionals and others invested in change in the Chicago area. We invite you to get involved. Bring your time, talent and ideas to help grow this exciting organization. Our activities will bring our message to others, encourage hope in tinnitus sufferers and raise contributions to support research that is moving toward cures for this often-devastating condition.

John Johnson of Glencoe, Ill, a businessman and entrepreneur, is chair of Chicagoland’s board. “Without a local, grassroots effort to raise awareness and fund research,” says John, “tinnitus will never get the national attention necessary to find a cure.”
