Summer 2010 Campaign
"Tinnitus was extremely difficult to deal with in the beginning. But with the American Tinnitus Association’s help, and the right management tools, I’m learning to push my tinnitus into the background – at least on most days. I have tried to change my perceptions of my tinnitus – I started to think of it as different types of music in my ear, or I would even say to myself that it was angels singing. Whatever it took to put myself in a better frame of mind. I never realized how valuable silence was until it was taken away from me..."

Monthly Giving
A monthly contribution made from your bank or credit card account is a convenient, easy and time saving way to support ATA and our mission to cure tinnitus. You decide a regular amount to donate, give us your instructions on ATA’s secure donation page, then submit your instructions online or by mail. After receiving your authorization, we will charge your bank or credit card account on the 15th of each month. You can change or stop your gift at any time. We’ll send you a year-end tax receipt to help you keep track of your donations. Click here for printable form.
Gifts of Stock
Gifts of stocks and securities provide an appealing way for you to donate to the American Tinnitus Association (ATA). Contributors of stock receive a tax deduction for the market value of the securities, calculated on the day of their transfer, while avoiding payment of capital gains on the stock's appreciated value.
Workplace Giving
Many companies participate in workplace-giving programs such as United Way/Combined Federal Campaign. Workplace giving is an easy, effective way for employees to regularly make tax-deductible donations to ATA directly from their payroll, by credit card or by check. Some employers offer matching-gift programs that can double or even triple their workers’ charitable donations. Find out if your employer offers such a program, then designate ATA to receive your gift, which will support tinnitus research.
Planned Giving
As part of your legacy, a planned gift to ATA will support vital research and advance our mission to cure tinnitus.
Tributes and Memorials
Many ATA supporters donate in honor or memory of family members, friends, colleagues, tinnitus patients or other loved ones. We acknowledge these tributes and memorials by sending cards to the recipients or someone close to them, and with a listing in Tinnitus Today.
