When: Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Where: First Presbyterian Church 100 Scotch Rd. Ewing, NJ 08628
Topic: Tinnitus Products: What Should You Buy?
Message from Group Leader, Dhyan Cassie:
"Dear Friends,
Last meeting we talked about drugs that may be helpful for tinnitus. We discussed two that are being studied for tinnitus. I cannot recommend them as they are still being studied, but if you come to the next meeting I can tell you what they are! Researchers are determining if there are different drugs for different types of onset of tinnitus.
In the meantime, there are products to try – most of them having to do with sound therapy. You can spend from $16 to $6000.
Which should you try? That is what we will discuss. We are very fortunate that Sound Pillow is sending us one of their pillows with speaker system (value over $100) and we will also have an IPOD, an IPHONE, a sound machine, a sound generator, CDs and hearing aids. Which should you buy? Is one as helpful as another? Should you buy several different items. You will have a chance to listen and decide what may work best for you. You can be helped and your tinnitus can be alleviated. Share with us your experience and we can all help each other.
Sincerely, Dhyan"
