Chris Townsley, Au.D., CCC-A received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in 1993, his master's degree in audiology from Kent State University in 1995 and his doctorate in audiology from the University of Florida in 2006. He completed his clinical fellowship year in Ohio before moving to California in 1997, where he first worked as an independent contractor for a short time. Dr. Townsley worked full time at an ENT practice in downtown Los Angeles for 9 years before joining Providence Speech and Hearing Center in Orange in 2010. Currently, he is the manager of the Word & Brown Hearing Center at Providence, home of the adult hearing clinic as well as the Orange County Fall Prevention and Balance Center. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the California Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. He holds a valid California license for Dispensing Audiologists. Dr. Townsley enjoys spending his free time with his wife, 2 step kids and 3 step cats.
