CA: California Academy of Audiology Annual Conference

The keynote speaker for the event will be Deb Carlson, PhD, who will assume the office of President of the American Academy of Audiology on July 1. Highlighted speakers will include Devin McCaslin, Ph.D., of Vanderbilt University (workshop on VEMP) and Henry Lew, Ph.D. of the University of Hawaii (Dual Sensory Loss). Additionally, two panel discussions are planned on the topics of innovative treatments for single-sided deafness and the role of audiologists in the screening/diagnosis/early intervention process for pediatric patients. We will also provide Tier 1 workshops on Saturday, including preceptor training. These talks are just the tip of the iceberg - CAA has something for everyone.
