SoundCure, a new device for tinnitus relief
Message from Group Leader, Dhyan Cassie:
"Dear Friends,
You may be glad to see Fall coming after a “fairly” warm summer. Now we take up our regular activities and get energized for new adventures. Tinnitus will fade in to the background as we focus on other activities.
Speaking of focus … we have discussed several sound therapy methods for tinnitus retraining therapy. We have had sessions on Widex Zen and Resound Alera hearing aids, as well as demonstrations of the sound pillow and sound machines.
This meeting we are going to talk about a new sound device called SoundCure. Their website says, “Research has shown that temporarily patterned sounds can produce synchronized, robust neural activity in the auditory cortex." Hmmm. Sounds interesting. Come and learn more about this device.
Sincerely, Dhyan"
