"If you suffer from tinnitus (ringing in the ear) you owe it to yourself to come, participate, learn and enjoy the following free event:
* Presentation by experts in ALOHA’s meeting room equipped with hearing loop for improved accessibility,
* Ask questions, find answers and learn the latest technology,
* Before the presentation, meet others with tinnitus; mingle and network while enjoying light refreshments.
From 9:00 AM –10:00 a.m., Tinnitus Peer Support Group Meeting. This session will be facilitated by Dr. Cristi Moore, Au.D., a well-known audiologist who works with tinnitus patients. Dr. Moore herself suffers from tinnitus so she knows what it is like to have it, what works and what doesn’t in general, and in her specific case.
From 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., Heather McGraw, CYT, CPT, CHHC of Tucson, AZ will speak on “Nutrition, Exercise and Stress Management as They Relate to Tinnitus”. Heather is a massage therapist, yoga teacher, personal trainer and holistic health coach. She enjoys helping her clients discover fun and easy ways to be happy and healthy naturally! That includes tinnitus and Heather will share her recipes to minimize it.
Please come to meet other members, enjoy refreshments and learn how nutrition, exercise and stress management can help us with our tinnitus."
