AZ: Tucson Tinnitus Support Group Meeeting (9:00 - 11:00 a.m.)

The Tucson Tinnitus Support Group invites you to join them at their next meeting.

"If you suffer from tinnitus (ringing in the ear) you owe it to yourself to come, participate, learn and enjoy the following free event:

    * Presentation by experts in ALOHA’s meeting room equipped with hearing loop for improved accessibility,

    * Ask questions, find answers and learn the latest technology,

    * Before the presentation, meet others with tinnitus; mingle and network while enjoying light refreshments.

From 9:00 AM –10:00 a.m., We’ll have refreshments, get to know each other and share our experiences on what works and what doesn’t in minimizing tinnitus. We’ll discuss which topics are of interest and which speakers are desired by the group for future meetings.

From 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.,  Jennifer Born, Director of Public Affairs and Editor of Tinnitus Today for the American Tinnitus Association (ATA) will present “Tinnitus – You Don't Just Have to Learn to Live With It.” Jennifer will provide an overview of ATA: what it is, what it does, what research it supports, how it serves its members and how it can help you. She will cover tinnitus treatments: what's available, what works and what's new. Get involved with ATA and ALOHA!

Please come to meet other members, enjoy refreshments and learn how nutrition, exercise and stress management can help us with our tinnitus."
