Note from the group leader(s):
"For our first meeting of the new year we will share some information on two new tinnitus instruments that have just been released for the market. I don't know if we will actually have one for you to try but we will have the information for you.

We have all heard about doing crossword puzzles, sudoku and other exercises to help you  focus better and remember more. Well, there are  also exercises to help improve your listening skills in difficult settings such as restaurants and noisy situations, with people who are rapid talkers and with competing speakers. We will do a short demo of this software program which may improve your ability to focus on information other than your tinnitus.

Our meetings are free and open to the public and provide support for people with tinnitus and hyperacusis and their significant others. Current information on tinnitus treatments are presented along with discussion of coping with and managing the problems associated with tinnitus and hyperacusis.

Please let us know if you will be attending the meeting by sending an email to either of us. ~Malvina Levy Au.D. (mlevy@hearingspeech.org) and Tracy Peck Au.D. (tpeck@hearingspeech.org)."
