Invisible Wounds Caucus Hearing - Tinnitus

On September 22, 2010 the Invisible Wounds Caucus (IWC) will hold a special hearing on Tinnitus. The goal of this hearing is to educate Members of Congress and their staff about the proven connections between tinnitus and traumatic brain injury (TBI) and tinnitus and PTSD. Our ultimate goal, as with all of our advocacy efforts is to increase the available research funding for tinnitus, and its co-morbidities, in an effort to cure it.

If your Member is on the list, the best way to ensure that they attend this important hearing is by asking them personally to attend. We have provided a sample letter  that you can download and send to your Member. Feel free to use as is, or modify to include your personal experience with tinnitus.

If your Member is not a member of the Caucus, we've created a different letter that  you can use to get them to go to the hearing! And, also encourage their participation with all of the efforts of the Invisible Wounds Caucus.
