The San Francisco Tinnitus Support Group invites you to join them at their next meeting.
When:
Tuesday, October 26, 2010
5:30 - 7:00 p.m.*
*Meetings tend to go later when we have a big group so plan accordingly.
Where:
The Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California
1234 Divisadero St., 2nd floor conference room
San Francisco, CA 94115
*There is free parking behind the building.
Note from the group leader(s):
"Last month there was quite a bit of discussion and we were not able to do any sound measurements with our sound level meters. If there is time this month, we will demonstrate how to measure sounds in our environment and discuss appropriate ear protection for different environments, i.e. riding BART vs. using power tools.
We are doing some special testing with people who have hyperacusis or unusual sound sensitivity and if you are interested in participating in this data collection, please talk to Tracy or myself before or after the meeting or send us an email.
We are also doing a tinnitus survey and if you are interested in taking this survey let us know and we will send you the link or you can find it on our website in a week or two.
Because of the upcoming holiday season, we combine our November/December meeting which will take place in early December. As always, you will receive an e-mail for the date and time and it will be posted on the Center website (www.hearingspeech.org) and on the ATA website's calendar (http://www.ata.org/calendar)."
