ATA at Portland's Health Week 2011 (10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

Meet ATA in downtown Portland at Pioneer Courthouse Square on Friday, January 7, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., as we participate in Health Week 2011!

ATA staff will be distributing free high-quality earplugs, informational materials about tinnitus and the importance of protecting your hearing from the dangers of loud sound.

Come down and meet DeciBelle! She has a bionic "ear" that can measure how loud you are listening to music on your MP3 players and whether or not it can cause damage to your hearing.

Bring your iPod or personal music player for her special loudness test and see if you should be turning the volume down.

This is a great opportunity to raise local awareness of tinnitus and showcase the importance of healthy hearing.
