Note from group leader, Dhyan Cassie:
"Dear Friends,
We has an amazing meeting in March. Everyone was interested in the possibility of vagus nerve stimulation for tinnitus. It is already being used for depression. It looks like we have a while to wait as the researchers are trying to make it as non-invasive as possible and tweak the tones used at the time of the stimulation. Thanks to one of our members, I am on an e-mail update that will keep us informed.

EXCITING NEWS: Dr. Stephen Nagler has written many articles on tinnitus, he was the Chairperson of the Board of ATA, he has been an enthusiastic advocate for the tinnitus sufferer. He is a dynamic speaker and has helped many hundreds of tinnitus patients through his articles and his willingness to devote time to listening, helping and healing.

I was hoping that Dr. Nagler could send us one of his PowerPoint's on tinnitus. Dr. Nagler felt that a cold PowerPoint would not be meaningful and the next thing I knew, he volunteered to come and talk to our group!! He is coming from Atlanta, GA at his own expense. I am thrilled we have this opportunity to learn tinnitus management from Dr. Nagler.

Do your very best to come, as I know you will be helped!

~Dhyan"
