* Appointed by the Governor to serve as the states only audiologist on the Colorado Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing: 2008-2012

* Implemented one of the nation's first infant hearing screening programs at P/SL Medical Center in Denver, Colorado to identify hearing loss in children.
* Established the Pediatric oncology and bone marrow hearing loss prevention programs at P/SL Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.
* Walter Reed Project (wounded soldier project): Committee member since 2004
