When:
Tuesday, September 20, 2011
5:30 - 7:00 p.m.*
*Meetings tend to go later when we have a big group so plan accordingly.
Where:
The Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California
1234 Divisadero St., 2nd floor conference room
San Francisco, CA 94115
*There is free parking behind the building.
Note from the group leader(s):
"Tinnitus, hearing and sound sensitivity have been in the news recently and we will discuss these articles as well as the latest information from Tinnitus Today. I don't know if anyone has tried any of the new devices on the market but if you have, please come and share your experiences.
We had hoped to schedule this meeting after the state audiology conference but were unable to meet the following week. Therefore the report on the latest research on tinnitus from Dr. Fan-Gang Zeng from UC Irvine will have to wait until our October meeting.
Our meetings are free and open to the public and provide support for people with tinnitus and hyperacusis and their significant others. Current information on tinnitus treatments are presented along with discussion of coping with and managing the problems associated with tinnitus and hyperacusis.
I am trying to clean up my group list so if you are receiving this e-mail and no longer want to get it please let me know. I'm sorry if I have removed your name from the list. You can always access our meeting notices from our website, www.hearingspeech.org or from the ATA.org website."
Please let the group leaders know if you will be attending the meeting: Malvina Levy, Au.D. (mclevyaud@pacbell.net) and Tracy Peck, Au.D.
