Audina Unveils Agenda for Its 14th Southeast Regional Continuing Education Workshop

Registration is now open for Audina’s 14th Annual Southeast Regional Continuing Education Workshop, to be held January 25-26, 2013, at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary hotel in Florida.

The 2-day, 16-hour continuing education workshop will include presentations on new technology, patient retention, HIPAA regulations, and the latest about loop systems, as well as other topics.

The 2013 Tri-State Hearing Convention will be held on February 28-March 2, 2013, at the Embassy Suites in Portland, Ore.

Last year, the Tri-State Hearing Convention celebrated its 40 year anniversary. The annual meeting serves the Washington, Oregon, and Idaho tri-state region.

The 2013 meeting offers 12 hours of continuing education and an exhibit hall with plenty of opportunity to interact with hearing health suppliers.

GN Otometrics has announced its second VNG/ENG course this year facilitated by balance expert Kamran Barin, PhD.  The course will be held in Chicago on October 3-5, 2012, at the Allerton Hotel.

The first 2 days of the course will focus on a comprehensive guide to VNG/ENG administration and interpretation.  The third day will feature demonstration and hands-on VNG/ENG testing.  The course is offered for up to 1.9 AAA/ASHA CEUs (intermediate level, professional area.)

13th Annual Texas Academy of Audiology Conference

The 13th Annual Texas Academy of Audiology Conference will take place November 8 to 10, 2012, in San Antonio, TX. The theme for the conference is "Back to the Future: Celebrating the Past, Present and Future of Audiology."

The keynote address, "Where We Have Been and Where We Are Going," will be presented by Deb Carlson, PhD, AAA president.
