Let’s Make Waves by Raising Funds for Tinnitus Awareness and Research

Fishing Tournament Casts a Net for Change and Remembering Loved Ones

The American Tinnitus Association is thrilled to team up with professional angler Mike Delvisco for an exciting two-day event in Dandridge, Tenn.

Join us on August 19 for a free tinnitus awareness concert, featuring musicians participating in the Celebrity Pro-Am Fishing Tournament. The evening features music, food, and exciting raffle prizes*, including a 2-night stay at Whiskey Retreats in Tenn, 1-night stay at Star Point Resort on Dale Hollow Lake, Tenn, guided fishing trip on Lake Guntersville, Tenn, and much more.

On August 20, starting from 7 am, the 2nd annual star-studded Douglas Lake Celebrity Pro–AM Fishing Tournament kicks off. A host of celebrities, including country music singers Bryan White, Wade Hayes, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Tony Justice, to name a few, will pair with professional anglers and the winning amateur bidders (no fishing experience required) to see who can reel in the largest fish**. To bid on joining a boat, visit https://americantinnitusassociation.betterworld.org/auctions/2024-douglas-lake-celebrity-pro.

The tinnitus awareness and fundraising event pays tribute to Kent Taylor, founder of Texas Roadhouse, who struggled with severe tinnitus, and benefits the ATA to advance tinnitus awareness and research. “I’m honoring the life of my dear friend, Kent Taylor, who – even as he struggled with tinnitus – found ways to give back to others,” Mike said. Texas Roadhouse will have food trucks at both events.

Whether you donate or join us in person, your contribution makes a difference in the lives of those living with tinnitus and the researchers trying to silence it!
