Introducing ATA Academy: Bringing Evidence-Based Tinnitus Care to Providers Nationwide
Launching in 2027, ATA Academy is a professional education platform offering evidence-based training, clinical tools, and continuing education resources for care providers who work with individuals affected by tinnitus. Through targeted knowledge and skill-building modules, the Academy will equip providers to assess tinnitus impact more accurately, communicate about it with greater confidence, and apply evidence-based approaches that help patients reduce the burden of living with the condition.
The development of ATA Academy has been supported in part by an unrestricted gift from Neuromod, the Irish medical device company behind the Lenire bimodal neuromodulation device for tinnitus management. ATA maintains full editorial and programmatic independence over the Academy, with content guided by its independent Tinnitus Advisory Group, a multidisciplinary panel of tinnitus experts. All programming will reflect ATA’s longstanding commitment to evidence-based, unbiased information across the full spectrum of tinnitus management approaches, including behavioral, sound-based, device-based, and emerging interventions. ATA does not endorse specific products or treatments and remains an objective resource for patients and providers alike.

Leading the Academy is Dr. Hannah Glick, AuD, PhD, CCC-A, who joined ATA in May 2026 as Vice President of Tinnitus Programming. A dually trained audiologist and cognitive neuroscientist, Dr. Glick brings direct patient care experience alongside a research background examining how auditory disorders and hearing interventions affect brain function, cognition, and well-being.
“Tinnitus affects millions of people, yet access to knowledgeable, compassionate care remains out of reach for far too many,” Dr. Glick said. “The ATA Academy reflects our belief that better-trained providers and better-supported patients are two sides of the same goal. When clinicians have the tools and information they need, patients get the care they deserve, and that is the outcome we are working toward.”
