Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering your time and energy to support others with tinnitus is one of the most caring and noble things you can do.

Local Support Group Alerts

We will notify you by email of upcoming tinnitus support group meetings in your area.

See below to sign up for our mailing list.

NOTE: Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, support groups may cancel their upcoming scheduled meetings. We will post updates as we are notified.
Even if a meeting is listed, we highly recommend that you reconfirm with the support group leader that it hasn't been cancelled.

Creating a new support group (if one doesn’t already exist in your area) and/or becoming a Help Network volunteer are the best ways to make an immediate, positive impact on the lives of tinnitus patients in your community.

Local tinnitus support groups provide a forum for patients to meet-up for in-person meetings. If there is not already a support group in your area, you may consider starting a new group to help local tinnitus patients.

Help Network Volunteers communicate one-on-one with people in need of support on an as-needed basis. ATA maintains a list of Help Network volunteers, sharing names and contact information with people seeking guidance and support from fellow tinnitus patients.

If you would like to start your own support group or be added to our list of volunteers, please contact us at supportgroups@ata.org. The Tinnitus Support Group manual provides information for those who would like to lead their own support group in their local area. Thank you.
