Last meeting we discussed how to increase our brainpower to overcome undesirable impacts on our lives - specifically tinnitus. Among the armaments we have at our disposal are physical exercise, nutrition, social interaction, mental exercise, meditation and thinking beyond ourselves to what we can do for others.
For April 14th meeting we are very fortunate to have as guest speaker (over speaker phone) Jennifer Born. Ms, Born coordinates the American Tinnitus Association's research grant program and works as advisor to all program areas at ATA including support, education and advocacy. She has worked for ATA since 2006 in areas of advocacy, and public affairs. She also served as Editor of Tinnitus Today for five years.
There are so many questions we can ask her - What can ATA do for us? What is the latest exciting research for a cure? What can we do for ATA? What is the treatment method you must often recommend? How do you compile a referral list?
Those are sample questions but I am sure you will have others. We are so fortunate to have Jennifer Born visit with us. Together and with ATA we will find help and hope for tinnitus!
