FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN EWING
I hope you had a good night's sleep after our last discussion on sleep habits. Get up at the same time every morning, get up if you are awake for more than 20 minutes after going to bed. eat lightly before bed and avoid stimulants. All this is common sense. In the meantime, don't worry about it. You can function well with less sleep than you think.
We are so fortunate for our next meeting June 18. Tinnitus Today journal for Spring 2016 carried an article on Mindfulness Based Tinnitus Stress Reduction: Unraveling the Gordian Knot of Tinnitus. I was going to read, summarize and present the article to you. Ah, an idea! What about the author and developer of the Mindfulness Based Tinnitus Stress Reduction presenting it to us herself! I emailed Dr. Jennifer Gans and even though she will be camping on the West Coast, she will come to us by speakerphone. We will review the article quickly from 10:00-10:30A.M. and then have her speak to us and answer any questions we may have as to this eight-week program and how it may help with tinnitus relief.
I hope you can attend this very informative and timely discussion. Stress reduction specifically tuned to tinnitus relief sounds like what we need to hear.
