GUEST SPEAKER:  Diane Allen, PhD   - Dr. Allen is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has personal experience with hearing loss and tinnitus. She will discuss tinnitus treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Dr Allen understands, and will share, how tinnitus can affect a person's mood, daily functions, and relationships, and how psychological services can help.    

PARKING and DIRECTIONS: There is free parking  - Enter the Hospital through the main entrance facing Parker Rd. In the main lobby, take the Tower A elevator, to the right of the Starbucks, to the lower level (LL). Turn right after exiting the elevator. Take an immediate right to the Conference Center. Enter the Conference Center (on your left). The Oak Room is on the right in the Conference Center.

The Third annual Tinnitus Awareness, Fund Raiser, and Walk, done in memory of Michael Haar, will be held on Sunday September 15th from 9:30 AM-12 noon at Eisenhower Park Field number 2, East Meadow, NY.

Several speakers from the medical field are expected to join to discuss, 
1. How to cope with Tinnitus 
2. How to avoid tinnitus spikes
3. Latest treatments for tinnitus
4. Updates on research to find a cure for Tinnitus 

T-shirts, Awareness bracelets and raffle items will be for sale. All profits will be donated to the American Tinnitus Association

Fran Cozzolino will supply wonderful acoustic music

Also. A 1/2 hour walk through beautiful Eisenhower Park.
