Did you know that Tinnitus Week runs February 5-11, 2018?
This is the second year the American Tinnitus Association has joined forces with the British Tinnitus Association (BTA), Tinnitus Research Initiative (TRI), TinnitusHub and others to raise global awareness of tinnitus and how it impacts millions around the world.
We’d like to invite you to join us in making a “Thunderclap.”
What’s a Thunderclap? A thunderclap allows a single message to reach vast numbers of people on social media, kind of like a flash-mob event. Like the clap of thunder, it reverberates across social media, attracting greater attention as it rises above other messages as more and more people get the message on tinnitus awareness!
Mark your calendars for the Tinnitus Week Thunderclap on February 9. Information on how to join can be found at: https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/66547-tinnitus-week-2018.
Right now, you can share this message through your social media accounts to let others know about the upcoming Thunderclap. To have an even greater impact, use the hashtag #TinnitusWeek when talking about Tinnitus Week, the Thunderclap, and raising tinnitus awareness.
Remember, the more awareness we bring to the issue of tinnitus, the greater the probability that more money will flow into research and support programs for the entire tinnitus community.
