International Noise Awareness Day: April 24

Do something about the noise around you

Manage Your Tinnitus

Discover the proven tools and therapies that can minimize the burden of your tinnitus and improve your quality of life.

ATA will join other organizations and individuals world wide next Wednesday, April 24, to observe International Noise Awareness Day (INAD).

Founded in 1996 by the Center for Hearing and Communication (CHC), INAD was established to encourage awareness and action about bothersome noise where people work, live, and play. According to the CHC website, many community groups as well as professional organizations have used this day to  provide free hearing screenings, hand out hearing protection and information, as well as promote the importance of noise reduction in our everyday lives.

The CHC website has several ideas for those interested in observing INAD in their area. Watch ATA’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) next Wednesday for postings in observance of INAD.
