Dr. Zeng is newly appointed to the 18-member NIDCD Advisory Council, which advises the Secretary, Health and Human Services; Director, National Institutes of Health; and Director, National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders. The Council advises on matters relating to the conduct and support of research and research training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to disorders of hearing, and other communication processes, including diseases affecting hearing, balance, smell, taste, voice, speech and language.
